Trendy gastronomy interior in the new Fishbowl Poké in Munich's Glockenbach quarter

Lowcarb, fresh and healthy – the Fishbowl Poke restaurant in Munich’s Glockenbachviertel neighbourhood is right on trend! Equally hot: the timely furnishing concept by WAGNER and designer Florian Kienast.

Poke is a particularly healthy dish that originates from Hawaii. It is composed of a rice or quinoa base, healthy proteins, fresh vegetables, a housemade sauce and delicious toppings and crunchy condiments. The ingredients can combined as desired by the individual. Much like the poke dish, the store design is also characterised by individuality. The tables made by Wagner are rustic, cracked, knotty oak hardwood. Their combination with a simple steel frame is static, solid and almost unbreakable. The untreated dark brown butt leather on the bench seats keeps the simple, rugged material theme consistent. In contrast, the W-1970 chairs almost seem delicate. The combination of leather-covered seats with wooden backrests was used in a food service project for the first time. The look of the materials used here, as with the table tops, gains a natural patina over time. This feature is continued throughout the entire design concept for the surfaces. The glass counter covers that resemble rusted crude steel, the smoothed putty surfaces on the wall with exposed concrete quality and the industrial tiles on the rear buffet continue this simple, rough – highly appropriate – material theme.

Hadi Teherani has a holistic mindset which represents the basis of his sophisticated architecture. WAGNER thinks all-embracing, as well. Aside of external appearance Wagner additionally attaches great importance to ergonomy and motion. The motion element „Dondola“ which is integrated into each seating furniture makes each new model a unique combination of function and design.
